Receiving and Living in God’s Love

Receiving and Living in God’s Love

Many believers know about God’s love but struggle to live from it. They believe God loves them in theory, yet emotionally remain distant, insecure, or fearful. God’s love was never meant to be merely acknowledged — it was meant to be received, experienced, and reflected.

Paul prayed not that believers would learn more facts, but that they would experience God’s love.

“That you may have power… to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:18–19

Body: Biblical Teaching

God delights in His people.

“The Lord your God is with you… He will rejoice over you with singing.” — Zephaniah 3:17

Jesus invites believers to remain in His love.

“As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love.” — John 15:9

When God’s love is received, it transforms identity, confidence, and relationships.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us.” — 1 John 3:1

A child raised in love grows secure and confident. A child deprived of love often struggles with fear and insecurity. In the same way, believers thrive spiritually when they live securely in God’s love.
