The Holy Spirit As Teacher And Revealer

Text: John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 2:9–12

The Holy Spirit is your divine teacher. He reveals truth, gives understanding, and brings clarity to God’s Word.

Many believers read Scripture but do not understand it deeply because they are not depending on the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is not just a book, it is spiritually discerned.

The Holy Spirit:

• Explains Scripture
• Reveals deeper truths
• Reminds you of God’s Word
• Gives wisdom beyond human understanding

He also teaches you in practical life situations—not just spiritual knowledge.

Biblical Illustration

The disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24) had Scripture explained to them, and their hearts burned within them. This is what happens when the Spirit reveals truth.

Also, Paul speaks in 1 Corinthians 2 about spiritual things being understood by the Spirit.

Deeper Insight

To learn from the Spirit:

• You must hunger for truth
• You must study the Word
• You must depend on Him for understanding

Revelation transforms information into transformation.

Application

• Study the Word prayerfully
• Ask the Holy Spirit for understanding
• Meditate on Scripture daily
