Victory is not measured by perfection but by continual dependence upon God’s grace.

As believers remain rooted in Scripture, they grow stronger, wiser, and more spiritually mature.

Remaining in God’s Word

Jesus said:

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.”

Remaining in God’s Word means:

• Reading it consistently.
• Studying it carefully.
• Meditating upon it.
• Applying it faithfully.

The Bible becomes the believer’s daily source of strength.

The Blessings of Obedience

Those who obey God’s Word experience:

• Greater peace.
• Spiritual stability.
• Wisdom.
• Stronger faith.
• Deeper intimacy with God.

Obedience protects believers from many unnecessary sorrows.

Growing Through Every Battle

Every temptation resisted strengthens spiritual maturity.

Each victory deepens dependence upon God.

Even when believers stumble, God’s grace invites repentance and restoration.

Failure should lead us back to Christ, not away from Him.

Biblical Illustration

The psalmist compares the righteous believer to a tree planted beside rivers of water.

Because its roots are continually nourished, it remains fruitful regardless of changing seasons.

Likewise, believers rooted in God’s Word remain spiritually strong during life’s challenges.
