Text: Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

In a world where self-confidence is celebrated, Christians are called to build a deeper, unshakable confidence—not in ourselves, but in Christ. True confidence doesn’t come from abilities, appearances, or achievements. It is rooted in who Christ is, what He has done, and what He continues to do in us.

- Jeremiah 17:7 – “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”
- Confidence in Christ is not arrogance; it is trust. It is standing firm, knowing God is faithful to finish what He starts.
- He is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
2. Confidence Through Identity
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…”
- Our confidence grows as we understand our identity in Christ. We are redeemed, justified, chosen, and deeply loved.
- When you know whose you are, you won’t be shaken by what happens around you.
3. Confidence in Trials and Weakness
- 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
- Even in weakness, we can be confident because His strength works through us.
- Trials don’t destroy confidence in Christ—they refine it.

- Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…”
- God has a purpose for your life. When you walk in your calling, you can be confident that He will guide and equip you.
- You were not randomly created—you were strategically designed for impact.

Surround yourself with people who encourage your faith and remind you of God’s promises. Iron sharpens iron.

Don’t wait to feel confident—act confident in faith. Growth happens outside your comfort zone.

Build intimacy through prayer, worship, and the Word. Confidence is sustained by communion with Christ.
Step 7: Encourage Others
As you grow in confidence, lift others. Confidence is contagious in Christ-centered community.
