Obedience In The Little Things
Text: Luke 16:10; Zechariah 4:10; Proverbs 4:23
God measures faithfulness not by the size of what you do, but by your consistency.
Many believers are waiting for big assignments, but God is watching how they handle small responsibilities.
Your life is shaped by daily decisions, not occasional moments.
Little acts of obedience include:
- Spending time with God daily
- Speaking truth even when it’s hard
- Maintaining integrity in private
- Treating people with kindness
These small things may not attract attention, but they attract God.
Small disobedience is dangerous because it seems harmless. But over time, it creates spiritual weakness.
Biblical Illustration
David was faithful in obscurity. Before he stood before Goliath, he was already winning battles nobody saw.
He fought lions and bears, not for applause, but out of responsibility.
That private obedience qualified him for public victory.
