Supernatural: Living Beyond the Natural

As believers, we are called to live not just within the confines of the natural world but to walk in the supernatural realm—a life empowered by the Spirit of God. The supernatural is not reserved for a select few but is the birthright of every child of God.

When we talk about the supernatural, we are speaking of God’s divine intervention in the affairs of men—miracles, healings, divine protection, prophetic insight, and spiritual authority. Jesus didn’t only come to teach moral values; He came to demonstrate the Kingdom of God with power.

1. God is Supernatural by Nature

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. —Isaiah 55:8 (NKJV)

God operates on a higher plane. What seems impossible to man is ordinary to God. His nature and actions transcend the laws of physics, biology, and logic.

2. Jesus Modeled a Supernatural Life

“Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him.” —Acts 2:22 (NKJV)

Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, and calmed storms. These weren’t just signs—they were revelations of the Kingdom. He showed us how to live supernaturally through obedience to the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit.

3. Believers are Called to Live Supernaturally

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” —Mark 16:17–18 (NKJV)

The supernatural is meant to be a normal expression of a believer’s life. Through faith and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to do the works of Christ—and even greater (John 14:12).

4. The Holy Spirit is the Key

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” —Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

The Holy Spirit equips us with gifts such as healing, prophecy, wisdom, and discernment. To live supernaturally, we must cultivate a deep relationship with Him.

Living the Supernatural Life

  • Walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
  • Stay filled with the Word and Spirit daily.
  • Expect miracles in everyday life.
  • Pray boldly, knowing heaven backs you up.
  • Operate in love, which is the greatest spiritual force.

Conclusion

To live a supernatural life is to live a life that reflects the power, presence, and purpose of God. It is to make the invisible Kingdom visible. You were created for more than the ordinary—you were created to live supernaturally in Christ.
