Becoming a Disciple Who Makes Disciples

Becoming a Disciple Who Makes Disciples
Main Texts:
Matthew 28:19–20; 2 Timothy 2:2; Hebrews 5:12
Introduction
One of the highest signs of maturity is the ability to help others grow.

A mature believer moves from being constantly fed to helping feed others.

Growth is not complete until it reproduces.

The Goal of Spiritual Growth

God does not mature believers merely for personal benefit.
He matures them so they can:
  • Teach others
  • Encourage others
  • Disciple others
  • Serve others

Maturity produces multiplication.

Biblical Illustration

Paul invested deeply in Timothy.

Timothy then became a leader who influenced others.

This pattern demonstrates spiritual reproduction.

Questions for Reflection

Are others growing because of your influence?
Are you helping younger believers?
Are you sharing what God has taught you?
