Loving Your Community and the Needy

Loving Your Community and the Needy

God’s love never stops at the church door. The gospel calls believers to care for the broken, the poor, and the forgotten. A faith that does not express itself in compassion is incomplete.

“Let your light shine before others.”Matthew 5:16

Biblical Teaching

God cares deeply for the vulnerable.

“Defend the weak and the fatherless.”Psalm 82:3

Jesus identified with those in need.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these… you did for Me.”Matthew 25:40

True faith is active.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”James 2:17

Illustration

A lighthouse does not exist for itself—it exists to guide others safely. The church and the believer are called to shine hope into dark places.
