Serving Through Your Gifts And Calling
Text: 1 Peter 4:10–11; Romans 12:4–8
God has given every believer gifts, not for personal gain, but for service.
You are not empty, you are equipped.
Your gifts may be:
Spiritual (teaching, prophecy, encouragement)
Practical (helping, organizing, giving)
Relational (caring, supporting, mentoring)
Whatever your gift is, it is meant to serve others.
Many believers struggle with comparison. They feel their gift is small or insignificant. But in God’s Kingdom, every role matters.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you.”
When you don’t use your gift:
- People are deprived
- The church is weakened
- Your purpose is delayed
Service is not about doing everything, it is about doing what God has assigned to you.
Biblical Illustration
In Exodus 31, Bezalel was gifted in craftsmanship. God filled him with skill to build the tabernacle. This shows that even practical skills are spiritual when used for God.
