When the Fire Fell

Series: Empowered – Living in the Fire of the Spirit

Focus: Understanding and receiving the fire of the Holy Ghost today.

Opening Scripture

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” — Acts 2:1–4 (NKJV)

What Is the Fire of the Holy Ghost?

When we say “the fire of the Holy Ghost,” we’re not talking about emotional hype or spiritual theatrics. The fire is:

  • God’s presence made manifest
  • His power released through people
  • A purifying force that changes everything it touches

The Day of Pentecost wasn’t a conference. It was a divine invasion. And the same fire that fell on that Upper Room is available to you today.
