Using Your Career to Advance God’s Kingdom

Using Your Career to Advance God’s Kingdom

Text: Matthew 5:13–16; Daniel 6:3; Colossians 4:5–6

God does not place believers in workplaces merely to earn income—He places them there to shine His light.

Your career is a Kingdom assignment.

You are called to influence your environment through:
  • Integrity
  • Wisdom
  • Excellence
  • Compassion
  • Godly character

The world does not only need preaching—it needs visible examples of Christlike living.

Daniel influenced kings because he carried:
  • Excellence
  • Integrity
  • Spiritual consistency

His relationship with God affected his professional life.

Likewise, believers today are called to stand out—not merely by words, but by lifestyle.

Your career can become:
  • A platform for evangelism
  • A place of influence
  • A channel of blessing
Biblical Illustration

Nehemiah served as cupbearer to the king, yet God used his position to rebuild Jerusalem.

His career became connected to Kingdom purpose.
