Anchor Scripture:
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
INTRODUCTION:
Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons to paralyze believers. But God has not called His people to timidity but to triumph. In a world filled with uncertainties, dangers, and spiritual battles, God raises a generation of the fearless—those who walk in power, love, and sound judgment.
Being fearless doesn’t mean we never feel fear, but it means we trust God enough to move despite it.
MAIN SERMON POINTS:
1. Fear is Not from God
- Fear is a spirit—and it’s not from God.
- It cripples faith, hinders obedience, and silences the voice of the Church.
Scriptures:
- Romans 8:15
- Isaiah 41:10
Key Thought: If fear didn’t come from God, we don’t have to accept it!
2. The Source of Our Courage is the Presence of God
- The fearless are not bold in themselves—they are bold because they know God is with them.
Scriptures:
- Joshua 1:9
- Psalm 23:4
Key Thought: Courage is the byproduct of constant awareness of God’s presence.
3. The Fearless Live by Faith
- Faith overcomes fear. You can’t walk in faith and remain in fear.
Scriptures:
- Hebrews 11:33-34
- Mark 5:36
Key Thought: Faith isn’t the absence of fear, but the courage to obey God in spite of fear.
4. Fearless People Are World Changers
- Throughout scripture, God used fearless men and women to fulfill divine purposes.
Examples:
- David (1 Samuel 17)
- Esther (Esther 4:16)
- Daniel (Daniel 6)
- Peter and John (Acts 4:13)
Key Thought: The fearless don’t wait for safety—they walk in obedience.
5. You Can Be Fearless Because of Who is Inside You
- The Holy Spirit empowers us with supernatural boldness.
Scriptures:
- Acts 1:8
- Proverbs 28:1
Key Thought: The Spirit within us is greater than the fear around us.
CONCLUSION:
The fearless believer is not reckless—but resolute. You are called to be bold, courageous, and uncompromising in your walk with God. In a time of fear, chaos, and retreat, God is raising fearless sons and daughters who will stand for truth, fight for souls, and walk in supernatural authority.
