Walking Daily in Your Identity in Christ
Text: Colossians 2:6–7; Ephesians 4:1; Philippians 1:6
Knowing your identity is important, but walking in it daily is essential.
Many believers know Scriptures about identity, yet still live defeated because revelation has not become lifestyle.
Identity must affect:
- Your thinking
- Your speech
- Your decisions
- Your relationships
- Your confidence
When you know who you are in Christ:
- You resist temptation differently
- You handle challenges differently
- You approach life differently
Spiritual growth happens when identity moves from information to transformation.
The enemy will continually challenge your identity, just as he challenged Jesus in the wilderness:
“If thou be the Son of God…”
Identity attacks are common because identity determines behavior.
Biblical Illustration
Gideon saw himself as weak and insignificant, but God called him a mighty man of valor (Judges 6).
God often sees in you what you have not yet seen in yourself.
